The fresh air of spring has brought fresh sounds that are getting thumbs a-wagging. New tracks from Grupo Frontera & Bad Bunny and Post Malone are among the Biggest Movers on the Shazam USA Top 100.
Norteño band Grupo Frontera enlisted Bunny for “un x100to” (Rimas), released just as the Puerto Rican superstar was heading to the California desert to headline Coachella.
Malone’s new single, “Chemical” (Mercury/Republic), has caught the attention of Shazam users, as has the new one from Kodak Black, “No Love for a Thug” (Atlantic).
Meanwhile, the first episode of Hulu’s new doc series RapCaviar Presents has revived interest in Tyler, The Creator’s 2017 release “See You Again” (Columbia).
In the U.K., vintage tracks by Nina Simone, Barbara Lewis and Pat Benatar, plus a new one from Lewis Capaldi, are attracting Shazammers.
