PHARRELL'S FEST TAKES OVER VIRGINIA BEACH (UPDATE)

UPDATE: Day 2 of Pharrell WilliamsSOMETHING IN THE WATER festival kicked off on Saturday (4/29) with early performances by BADBADNOTGOOD, Kamasi Washington, SWV, Coi Leray and Wet Leg, among others. But that was only the beginning; fans were later privy to performances by The Kid LAROI, Latto, KAYTRANADA, Jonas Brothers, Lil Yachty, Machine Gun Kelly, Summer Walker and Lil Wayne, who kept the audience basking in the balmy spring weather all night long.

For the grand finale, Pharrell was joined by A$AP Rocky, Busta Rhymes, Spliff Star, De La Soul and M.I.A. as well as surprise guests Diddy, Chris Brown, Lola Brooke and Latto. The set list included “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” “Frontin’,” “Pass the Courvoisier,” “All About the Benjamins,” “Paper Planes,” “Loyal,” “Happy” and “Cash In Cash Out.” People were likely much more comfortable here than at Stagecoach, where we hear you could fry an egg on the ground thanks to the triple-digit heat.

Pharrell's Something in the Water festival returned to Virginia Beach on Friday (4/28). Produced by Live Nation, the fest's first day included performances from Kehlani (pictured), Jazmine Sullivan, Skrillex, Arcade Fire, Maren Morris, Doechi and headliners Mumford & Sons and Kid Cudi.

HITS' Lenny Beer has been watching the YouTube livestream very closely and swears he saw Laffitte Management's Ron Laffitte and Alex DePersia hanging out on the Virginia Beach Boardwalk with Live Nation's Lesley Olenik. But he also swore the Clippers would make it past the first round this year.

Watch the Day 2 and Day 3 livestreams below, which has sets from Pharrell, Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne, Wet Leg, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Grace Jones and more on deck throughout the weekend.
