IGA'S NIEMAN GAME FOR A PROMOTION

Interscope Geffen A&M Records is upping the ante on David Nieman, promoting him to SVP of Sports & Gaming, in which capacity he'll continue to be the label’s chief liaison to the sports and gaming sectors.

“David and his team have built our sports and gaming capabilities into a very important commercial driver for our artists,” said IGA Vice Chairman Steve Berman. “I am pleased to be able to offer him this expanded role as he continues to create important opportunities for our diverse array of artists.”

Over the last eight years, Nieman has forged relationships with ESPN college football, the NFL and NBA. In the gaming world, he's been instrumental in securing soundtrack slots on the Madden NFL and FIFA video games. Additional sports and video-game collaborations include UFC, Epic Games, EA and Nintendo.
