Today (12/16) Liz Phair releases Never Said Nothing, an audio story from Audible’s Words + Music series produced in conjunction with Gunpowder & Sky, the music content studio founded by former MTV exec Van Toffler.
The episode traces Phair’s journey, in her own words, from her breakout as an early '90s rock upstart to her 2021 album, Soberish, released on the re-launched Chrysalis Records. Along with the narrative, Phair performs a handful of songs, including “Polyester Bride,” “Stars and Planets” and "6’1,” the opening track from her acclaimed 1993 debut, Exile in Guyville. Take a listen to Never Said Nothing HERE.
In a related story, Toffler was prepared to issue a comment until he learned we were the ones seeking it.
