TAG THEY'RE IT: SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Two songs in the eighth episode of ESPN’s Michael Jordan doc The Last Dance caught the attention of Shazam users on both sides of the Atlantic. One’s from a hip-hop legend, the other’s more trip-hop.

KRS-One’s 1997 track “Step Into a World (Rapture’s Delight)” (Zomba) first appeared on the rapper’s third —and best-selling—album I Got Next, which peaked at #3. The othersong that got. Thumbs wagging is Jose Gonzalez’s tender “Teardrop,” which Mute released in 2007. In the U.K., “Teardrop” is the biggest mover followed by “Step Into a World.”

Leading the biggest movers list is SiR’s 2019 release “You Can’t Save Me” (TDE/RCA), which benefitted from a sync on HBO’s Insecure. Elle King’s live cover of Khia’s “My Neck, My Back,” which RCA issued on an EP in 2012, captured thumbs and ears after appearing on The Wrong Missy on Netflix.

The lone new track among the Top 5 biggest movers is the latest from the Jonas Brothers, “X” f/KAROL G (Republic).
