T.J. MARTELL FOUNDATION TO FETE CBS' SUSSMAN

Jack Sussman, CBS’ music and special events chief, will receive the T.J. Martell Foundation’s Spirit of Excellence Award on 10/2 at the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel.

The co-chairs of the event are Warner/Chappell-WMG EVP and Head of Sync Ron Broitman and Citi SVP Global Entertainment David Kovach; Honorary Co-Chairs are Maverick Prez Greg Thompson and Ticketmaster COO Amy Howe. Disney Music Group boss Ken Bunt is Entertainment Chair.

Disney Channel VP of Music and Soundtracks Steven Vincent will also be honored. Dr. Allan S. Wayne of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles will receive the Medical Advancement Award and composer/singer/actress Erika Ender will receive the foundation’s Humanitarian Award. Ender will also perform.

The Spirit of Excellence Awards Dinner was created to pay tribute to music and entertainment industry leaders who embody the spirit of service and who have made a positive impact in their communities. The evening brings together all walks of the industry to inspire action and to raise critical funding for cutting-edge cancer research.
