ODOM SHOWED 'EM

At a recent L.A. performance by Tony-winning S-Curve artist Leslie Odom, Jr., the gifted vocalist patiently explained to our own Lenny Beer that none of the characters in Hamilton were actual Jedi Knights. Seen just before pondering a Broadway hip-hop musical about an unsavory 30-year-old trade publication are (l-r) Beer, Dick Clark Productions’ Mark Shimmel, Odom, Jill Shimmel and manager Joseph Abate.

Among those also in attendance at the show were ABC’s Scott Igoe, label chief Steve Greenberg, Gary Gersh, CAA gunslinsger Robert Norman, Pulse’s Jason Bernard, Odom’s attorney Peter Lewit of Davis Shapiro Lewit Grabel Leven Granderson & Blake, LLP, and his colleagues Damien Granderson and Guy Blake.
