WHAT IT IS: Texas-based musicians Zella Day and Jesse Woods, who formed the country duo Chaparelle in 2023, are making their mark with their debut singles, “Bleeding Hearts” and “Sex and Rage,” while captivating audiences with their heartfelt songwriting and evocative live performances. This spring, Chaparelle will kick off their first headlining tour of 2025 with Two Steppin’Through Texas, a three-date trek beginning on 4/3, before hitting major summer festivals including BottleRock Napa and Green River Festival.
