Good Play Music, a new LA-based firm specializing in management, publishing and career development for creatives, has launched under the leadership of Amanda Samii.
A former Capitol Records and Kobalt Music Publishing exec, Samii’s past work includes signing and developing the likes of FINNEAS, Marshmello, Niall Horan and Rogét Chahayed.
Joining her is Sam Schulman, longtime manager and A&R exec known for her work with ASHE, FINNEAS, Bishop Briggs and Ali Tamposi. Together, the former Noisemakers aim to offer individualized, client-focused support to their roster of talent.
Good Play’s roster already boasts 1b+ streams. Songwriter Annie Schindel contributed to Chappell Roan’s “Red Wine Supernova” and works with rising talent like Dasha and INJI, while Grammy-winning producer duo CASHÆ has powered hits for LE SSERAFIM, David Guetta and Miky Woodz. Photographer Elizabeth Miranda (Dua Lipa, JENNIE) and director Hunter Moreno (Selena Gomez, mgk) are among the visual creatives on the roster.
“At Good Play, our mission is to elevate our clients' talents, break down barriers, and spark meaningful conversations that inspire change in the entertainment industry,” says Samii.
“With the business shifting back toward true artist and creative development, I feel lucky to be a part of its ever-changing landscape,” added Schulman.
