With the new year fast approaching, Afterlife/Interscope’s Anyma is set to launch his Las Vegas residency, The End of Genesys, at the Sphere on 12/27.
Becoming the first electronic artist to headline the groundbreaking venue, the DJ and producer, born Matteo Milleri, has sold out six shows through 1/1—including the Sphere’s inaugural New Year’s Eve event—and recently added two more dates on 1/10 and 1/11.
Presented by Live Nation, each night will feature a rotating lineup of openers, such as Camelphat, Charlotte De Witte, Mike Dean, Rampa, Sebastian Ingrosso, TIËSTO and Layton Giordani, along with rumored surprise guests.
Earlier this year, Anyma—who is also the co-founder of the Afterlife label—released Genesys II, the follow-up to his debut album, before taking the Coachella stage as one half of electronic duo Tale of Us.
The residency marks a milestone moment for the Sphere, which has predominantly hosted performances by iconic rock and jam bands. Joining the likes of U2, Phish, Dead & Company and The Eagles as headlining acts at the venue, Anyma is ushering electronic music into the Sphere's state-of-the-art space, featuring the largest and most advanced wraparound LED screen in the world.
Anyma is represented by CAA’s Ferry Rais-Shaghaghi and managed by Evan Baker at EAU-FORTE.
Limited tickets for the 1/10 and 1/11 shows are available here.
