Rising country artist Dalton Davis is the newest signee to Universal Music Publishing Nashville as part of an exclusive global agreement.
The Gastonia, North Carolina native's debut album will be released at some point this year and has been preceded by the singles "Sit Crooked" and "Made for Tennessee."
A new track, "Blue Ridge Sky," will come out 1/31.
“Every now and then, a singer-songwriter walks into my office and within five minutes it is so objectively clear that they have the 'it factor,'" said UMPG Nashville Chairman/CEO Troy Tomlinson. "With Dalton, it took all of three minutes to know that we had to work with him.”
Davis is booked by WME and managed by Alex Lunt for Type A Management, who is pictured far right with UMPG Nashville's Roxy King and Tomlinson as well as the cowboy hat-clad Davis.
HITS' type, however, has yet to be adequately determined.
