FREED AND FUJI ACQUIRE WILL JENNINGS’ CATALOG

The song catalog of Will Jennings has been acquired by his long-time music publisher and friend Lance Freed, in partnership with Fuji Music Group.

The acquisition was made through an exclusive joint venture between Freed’s new publishing company, All Clear Music, and Fuji Music Group, which together acquired 100% interest of both Jennings’ publishing rights and writer’s share catalog.

Throughout his career spanning more than five decades, Jennings has penned hits like Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On,” Steve Winwood’s "Higher Love,” Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven,” Tim McGraw’s “Please Remember Me,” Whitney Houston’s "Didn't We Almost Have It All,” and more from Barry Manilow, Dionne Warwick, Joe Cockerand Jennifer Warnes, among others.

Jennings’ songs have also sold an estimated 150m records, and he’s earned six Grammy nom, three Grammy wins, two Academy Awards, a BAFTA Award and was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2006 as well as the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
