SILO x PRESCRIPTION HOST VIRTUAL TRAILER CAMP
8/12/20

SILO: Music and Prescription Songs have joined together for the second trailer/promo-based writing camp. The virtual project kicked off in July and will come to a wrap in late August.

Curated by both Prescription Songs members Sara Walker, Megan Wood-Petersen, Marlee Kula and Jillian Rutstein along with SILO: Music’s Jack Ormandy, Neil Ormandy, Reuben Sears, Adrianne Jauregui and Jessica Thomas, the 2020 SILO: & Prescription camp includes nine producers and 13 topliners mixed from each roster, organized into a total of 18 virtual sessions.

With all tracks being created remotely via video conferences on Zoom, the virtual setting offers an opportunity to not only double the number of participants as last year, but to connect songwriters and producers from all over the world including LA, NY, Nashville, London, Amsterdam and Germany. A silver lining during an unprecedentedly difficult and isolating season, by utilizing the virtual tools at hand, the SILO: and Prescription teams are able to connect and create in ways rarely considered until now.

SILO: Music’s SVP of Trailers & Promos Reuben Sears is the lead A&R on the project. His past credits include Ready Player One, Selma, Annihilation, Suicide Squad, Mother!, Dunkirk and IT, as well as independent music supervision work on the trailer for HBO’s Perry Mason (2020) and Netflix’s Last Chance U Season 3 (2016).

This year is the follow-up to the success of their 2019 camp, of which the output included two industry EP releases and a significant number of placements in the past year. Those placements include features in promos for HBO, A&E and AirBNB, among others.

Both companies have found a symbiotic creative and professional relationship of which they intend to continue building.
