Jez Dior (Epic/Funeral Crew)
9/26/17

WHAT IT IS: Channeling influences that range from Kurt Cobain to Eminem, Jez Dior melded his smooth, languid flow with a blend of hip-hop, pop and rock sensibilities. He’s the son of famed British guitarist/songwriter Steve Dior, who worked with the New York Dolls and Sex Pistols. He grew up listening to bands such as Nirvana and The Doors, but later began experimenting with writing lyrics that echoed 50 Cent and G-Unit. Over the past few years, the L.A.-based artist has developed his unique sound, and his life experiences have created a stimulating backdrop for his widely acclaimed compositions.
