Singer/songwriter Amy Allen has inked a record deal with Warner and is gearing up for her solo debut release with “Queen of Silver Linings,” due 7/1.
Co-written and co-produced with Dan Wilson (Adele, Dixie Chicks), the ballad is the first track off her forthcoming debut album and marks Allen’s return to her roots as an artist and performer.
Having penned tracks for artists like Harry Styles, Halsey, Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes and more, Allen has shifted her focus to her debut album. “It felt like I was finally able to have the voice and write the songs that I've been waiting my whole life to write. There was stuff I needed to go through to write this album. I didn't have the perspective before,” says Allen.
Featuring tracks like “Tastes Like Love,” “Scared of Love” and “What a Time to Be Alive,” Allen co-wrote each song on the album and brought in collaborators like Wilson, Ethan Gruska, Ian Fitchuk, Daniel Tashian, Jon Bellion, Eg White, and more. While there’s no official release date yet, you can stream “Queen of Silver Linings” on 7/1.
Allen is co-managed by Warner’s VP of A&R Gabz Landman and Mick Management's Jonathan Eshak.
