Big Machine Music has inked Eric Palsay to an exclusive songwriting agreement. The former EMI Nashville artist has penned five #1 tracks, including Eli Young Band’s “Even If It Breaks Your Heart,” Jake Owen’s “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” Love & Theft’s “Angel Eyes,” Rascal Flatts’ “Rewind,” and “Friday Night” from his self-titled debut album.
BMM GM Mike Molinar says, “I first met Eric more than a dozen years ago and even back then, the depth, warmth and commerciality of his songs made him special. We are excited and honored that he has chosen Big Machine Music as his partner for this next chapter of his career.”
Texas native Palsay adds, “The Big Machine Music team is tireless, hard-working and fierce when it comes to the songs they love. I’m excited to be joining them.” The two-time Grammy nominated artist joins a bolstering roster which includes Brett Young, Luke Combs, Brandy Clark, Laura Beltz and more.
Palsay is currently working on new music and planning to tour Europe sometime this year.
