Primary Wave Music Publishing announced today (6/5) that they’ve acquired the music rights to the David Rose Music publishing catalog, including publishing and master royalties as well as some of Rose’s most recognized music for television series such as Little House on the Prairie, Highway to Heaven, and Bonanza among others.
The four time Emmy award winner’s daughter, Angela Rose White, who is also the President of David Rose Publishing Co., says, “We are honored to place our catalog, scores and master with Primary Wave Music. We can't think of a better company for such evergreens as 'The Stripper' and 'Holiday for Strings' than Primary Wave.”
"We are thrilled to add David Rose to our family of artists," declared PW boss Larry Mestel. "His legendary compositions and television theme songs are loved by so many people and we look forward to furthering the legacy of this incredible composer and songwriter."
Now if you'll excuse us, we'll be flouncing around to "The Stripper" while wearing our Little House dress. Don't you dare judge us.
