On the heels of its deal with singer/songwriter Tom Cochrane, Primary Wave Music Publishing announced a deal with yet another legendary songwriter, Holly Knight.

In the deal, Primary Wave will tend to some of Knight's biggest hits; these include “The Best” (Bonnie Tyler, Tina Turner), “Love Is A Battlefield” (Pat Benatar) and “The Warrior” (Scandal), as well as cuts for Heart, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart and more. The Songwriter's Hall of Famer's songs have appeared on records totaling over $530m in record sales and earned mondo syncs.

“Holly is a legendary songwriter whose songs have resonated in people’s lives for decades," said Primary Wave President Justin Shukat. "She is simply the best! We’re very excited to welcome her to the Primary Wave family and look forward to a very long relationship.”
