Hailee Steinfeld has announced a worldwide pub pact with Warner/Chappell. The singer/songwriter/actor and Republic artist, whose "Most Girls" is off to a stellar start at Pop radio (with 33 adds on impact), previously scored a platinum single (and Top 5 Pop hit) with "Starving," co-penned with the pubco's Asia Whiteacre and Noise Club. Her debut EP dropped in 2015.
Steinfeld has recorded with Shawn Mendes, Machine Gun Kelly and DNCE, among other artists, and will soon be seen in Pitch Perfect 3. She's been nominated for an Oscar, a Golden Globe, a BAFTA and a SAG Award, among other laurels. But hey, she's already an old woman of 20. By that age we'd already learned how to open a beer with a lighter. Sort of.
"Hailee is a creative whirlwind, whether it’s in the recording studio, in film, or on stage,” said W/C SVP & Co-Head of A&R Katie Vinten. "The entire Warner/Chappell team is thrilled to have her in the family, and we look forward to collaborating with Hailee to take her musical career to new heights."
