TikTok has announced that it's increasing its efforts in AI transparency. The news arrives less than a week after UMG and TikTok renegotiated their licensing agreement.
Partnering with Content Credentials, a new technology from the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity, TikTok will automatically label AI-generated image and video content made on other platforms.
This is in addition to its labeling of AI-generated content created with TikTok effects. That program currently flags only visual content, but the social-media site plans to incorporate audio as well.
