TAYLOR'S FULL OF SURPRISES

Republic's Taylor Swift surprised Swifties on Wednesday evening (10/11), announcing that her concert film, The Eras Tour, would open on Thursday in the U.S. and Canada instead of Friday. Whatever the box-office projections are now, we'll take the over.

Not only did Tay show up at the premiere at The Grove Wednesday, so, too, did Beyoncé. We're guessing only one of them is jetting off to Thursday night's NFL game.

Swift stopped by each of the 13 theaters at The Grove’s AMC multiplex to deliver a three-minute speech prior to the screening of the two-hour, 48-minute film. We weren't there, but we're hoping someone will bring us some Eras souvenir fountain-drink cups.
