In the first year Apple Music has sponsored the NFL's Super Bowl Halftime Show, the streaming giant went big. With the Philadelphia Eagles up 24-14 against the Kansas City Chiefs at the end of an exciting second quarter, Rihanna appeared on a levitating stage for a catalog-spanning set that included such songs as "Bitch Better Have My Money," "Where Have You Been," "Rude Boy," "Work," "Pour It Up," "Rehab, "All of the Lights," "Umbrella" and "Diamonds."
Flanked by dozens of dancers dressed in white, Rihanna stunned in all-red (does that mean she's a Chiefs fan?) as she plowed through the 13-minute medley. The abnormally long halftime break, which totaled 29 minutes, should have been enough time for Patrick Mahomes' ankle to recover—at least a little bit.
As Adele, Sir Paul McCartney, Roc Nation's JAY-Z, Nick Jonas and other famous faces looked on, the Chiefs went on to beat the Eagles, 38-35. Meanwhile, social media continues to lose its collective shit over Rihanna's pregnancy reveal following her baby bump's first public appearance.
