HITS ANNI 36: BIZ HISTORY 101

As the HITS 36th Anniversary special coalesces, like some vast, unbidden fungus, we're enjoying a ramble through our abundant photo archives. This amazing pic from early in the brilliant career of current Epic Chairman/CEO Sylvia Rhone (then head of EEG) finds her flanked by some of the most influential execs in music-biz history, and also Bob Morgado. In addition to displaying some of the great players of the preceding era, it's an object lesson in what "the room" looked like just a while ago. One thing that hasn't changed, much to everyone's regret: We're still here.
