TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Two tracks from Hustle, Adam Sandler's Netflix hoops pic, are grabbing the ears of Shazam users, as is the latest effort from Pharrell Williams.

Hustle has provided some big scores from deep in the U.S. and U.K. for David Dallas’ 2013 cut “Runnin’” (Dawn Raid/Dirty/Duck Down), which finds the New Zealand native rapping alongside samples of Louisiana preacher/artist Sister Gertrude Morgan. Zarcourt f/Kairo’s 2020 release “Partiendonos la Madre” (Warner) is capturing the attention of stateside listeners following the Hustle sync.

After being featured in three episodes of Stranger Things, "Pass the Dutchie" (Geffen), Musical Youth’s global smash from 1982, is on the path blazed by Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill.” The Russian rock band Jane Air, meanwhile, has Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys to thank for bolstering its 2002 release, “Junk” (JA Lab).

Williams’ latest, “Cash In Cash Out” (Columbia), features Tyler, The Creator and 21 Savage. The video is making bank with fans.
