TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Shazam users on both sides of the Atlantic are watching the same things: Stranger Things and Top Gun: Maverick. And it’s not just the hits that are attracting the thumbs.

Kate Bush’s 1985 track “Running Up That Hill” tops the biggest movers lists in both the U.S. and U.K., with Lady Gaga’s fighter-jet theme “Hold My Hand” (Interscope) right behind it. Stranger Things is also responsible for breathing new life into Starpoint’s “Object of My Desire” (Rhino), also from 1985, while the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack has provided a sizable platform for OneRepublic’s “I Ain’t Worried.”

Shawn Mendes’ new single, “When You’re Gone” (Island), rounds out the Top 5 biggest movers in the states. Blighty, though, is apparently home to a bunch of Heardle cheaters, as evidenced by the rise in Shazams for Pharrell’s “Frontin’” and AC/DC’s “Back in Black.”
