UMPG NASHVILLE UPS MISSY ROBERTS

UMPG Nashville has promoted Missy Roberts to VP, A&R. She will continue reporting to Troy Tomlinson, Chairman/CEO of the Nashville division.

Roberts, who most recently served as Senior Director, A&R, currently reps songwriters Brandi Carlile, Ingrid Andress, Caitlyn Smith, Justin Ebach, Paul DiGiovanni, Derrick Southerland, Cole Taylor, Shane Minor, Jamie Paulin and Jeff Middleton.

Said Tomlinson, “I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Missy and watching her grow as a leader over a number of years. Her thoughtful approach when signing songwriters and setting up collaborations makes her an absolutely excellent example of what A&R should look like. Missy’s voice on our team and within the Music Row community have positioned her well for this leadership role."

Prior to joining UMPG in 2012, Roberts held A&R roles at Sony Music Nashville, Disney Music Publishing Nashville, Stage Three Music and EMI Music Publishing. An 18-year industry vet, she was also recognized as one of the Rising Women on the Row in 2020.
