Epic Records has upped Scott Dimig to Senior Vice President of Promotion, specializing in Top 40 and Dance radio. EVP & General Manager Rick Sackheim made the announcement.
New York-based Dimig will continue to handle Top 40 and Dance radio campaigns and airplay strategy for artists across the label’s roster, which includes Travis Scott, Camila Cabello and DJ Khaled.
“Scott’s passion and drive are infectious to everyone who comes in contact with him,” Sackheim said. "He has played a significant role in breaking a number of hit songs for Epic Records that have driven pop culture. In our ever-changing landscape, Scott is at the forefront of the industry.”
A 17-year veteran of Sony Music, Dimig has risen through the ranks at Epic from college intern in 2003 to assistant and eventually National Director of Top 40 & Dance Promotion in 2013. In 2016, he became VP of Top 40 Promotion.
“Congratulations, Scott,” Sackheim added. “Now you get to take all those calls from HITS. Enjoy.”
