"A BEAUTIFUL NOISE" ROCKS GEORGIA

The stirring virtual performance of “A Beautiful Noise” seen here was led by singer/songwriter Crystal Monee Hall to energize voters and volunteers ahead of the Georgia Senate runoffs. The song, co-penned by Grammy winners Alicia Keys and Brandi Carlile, is performed by a powerhouse choir (enumerated below) and accompanied by a montage of key faces and moments tracing the roots of our ongoing civil-rights struggle. The clip was directed by Angela Grovey.

“This piece is my effort to shift from righteous anger to revolution. From complaint to contribution,” says Hall. “I can’t vote in Georgia, and neither can the majority of the folks involved in the creation of this project, but we still, each of us, have a voice all our own. This is about using your voice, and being heard. Standing up and being counted. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for, and no one is coming to save us. We must stand up and make the necessary changes ourselves.”
