ROLLING LOUD x TWITCH SET VIRTUAL FESTIVALS

Leading rap festival Rolling Loud has partnered with Amazon's Twitch for a series of three virtual festivals, each promising five hours of live performances. The first one, Loud Stream, is slated for 9/12-13.

Along with the livestream festivals, Rolling Loud will launch its own channel on Twitch with live and community-driven hip-hop programming.

Founded in 2015, Rolling Loud has grown into a dominant festival brand in the hip-hop scene. They now have annual festivals in Miami, Los Angeles, New York and the Bay Area, with their first European fest set for Portugal in Summer 2021.

"As in-person concerts are put on hold, we’re working to create an incredible backstage environment that fans can access from anywhere in the world. Rolling Loud has a powerful community of hip-hop fans, and we’re thrilled to partner with them for a first of its kind event that will bring their incredible live music brand to life." - Head of Music Content at Twitch, Will Farrell-Green

"Twitch gave us the creative control to produce unique shows that hold true to our 'ahead-of-the-curve' mentality and play to Twitch's strengths as the leading live stream platform out there. Expect Rolling Loud to do in the live stream world just as we have done in the festival space." - Matt Zingler, Co-Founder/Co-CEO at Rolling Loud

Before the pandemic postponed the festival, 2020 Rolling Loud headliners were slated to be Post Malone, Travis Scott and A$AP Rocky. Previous headliners include Kendrick Lamar, Future, J. Cole, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Juice WRLD and Young Thug, among others.
