In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, non-profit organization Until We Do It was launched to mobilize care for vulnerable populations. Founded by Ari Afsar, Kene Anoliefo, Kristen Gillis and Kethlyn White, the organization came together after the four struggled to find initiatives focused on getting PPE to at-risk populations.
By partnering with local organizations, collecting funds, supplies and resources, Until We Do It aims to support communities that don’t have quick access to high-quality masks. The initiative donates items like 50M masks among other protective supplies and has created a network of suppliers to give free cloth masks to those who need it most.
Until We Do It has already partnered with Bella Canvas & Ashley Graham to donate 50k masks to local organizations in Chicago, Cleveland, L.A. and Alabama as well as Jet Blue to deliver meals to Midnight Mission to support the L.A. homeless population.
Local or regional non-profits that serve at-risk populations who are looking to access free masks for their community or other supplies can apply and learn more here. For more info on how you can donate supplies or funds, click here.
