CAA has signed Sir Barry Gibb for representation in all areas worldwide.
Gibb, the British singer, songwriter and producer best known as the frontman and co-founder of the Bee Gees, has a career spanning more than 60 years, has won nine Grammys and has two Golden Globe nominations. He is one of the only singers in the world who has had a #1 record for five consecutive decades.
Gibb is a knighted member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). As a songwriter, he has written #1 hits for Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross and Olivia Newton-John, among others. Gibb and his brothers were commissioned to write and record the songs for the soundtrack to the film Saturday Night Fever. Upon its release in November 1977, it became the best-selling soundtrack of all time, and was certified 16x Platinum, selling more than 54 million copies worldwide. It remains one of the best-selling albums in history.
