Fortress Talent Management has promoted Jake Kozarec to partner.
Having joined the company in 2016, Kozarec has overseen the careers of Lorne Balfe (Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning, Top Gun: Maverick), Matthew Margeson (Rocket Man, Kingsman: The Secret Service), Jeff Cardoni(White House Plumbers), Keegan DeWitt (A Teacher, All the Bright Places), Jay Wadley (I’m Thinking of Ending Things, Swan Song), Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe (Candyman), David Fleming (Alto Knights, Damsel) and Alex Belcher (Extraction, Citadel).
He's has also played a key role in growing Fortress’ roster, which includes Oscar-winners Howard Shore,Gustavo Santaolalla, Mychael Danna and Rachel Portman, as well as Oscar nominees like Nicholas Britell, Daniel Pemberton, Philip Glass, Alberto Iglesias, Clint Mansell and Owen Pallett.
The company’s clients currently boast 11 Emmy noms for shows like Succession, The Last of Us, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Andor and Ms. Marvel, among others, and include past winners Nathan Barr, Jeff Russo, Laura Karpman, Mac Quayle, Trevor Morris and Wendy & Lisa.
Fortress also reps music supervisors such as Liza Richardson, Maggie Phillips, Frankie Pine, Michael Hill, Wende Crowley and Amani K. Smith.
