WHAT IT IS: Vermont-raised singer/songwriter Noah Kahan has proved himself to be more than a one-hit-wonder. After releasing debut album Busyhead in 2019, Kahan dropped his heavily folk-influenced sophomore set, I Was / I Am, last September and has since amassed 1b+ streams across his catalog and toured with his personal inspiration, James Bay. “Stick Season,” from his upcoming project of the same name, represents a massive turning point for Kahan, who first teased the new music on tour last year.
