Vagrant/BMG's LP has announced her first global livestream event, the 2020 Virtual World Tour. Set for 8/1, the event will broadcast live from L.A.’s The Beehive studios and is expected to be the singer/songwriters’ only full-production concert this year.
"I was expecting to tour throughout 2020 around the world, but unfortunately we had to postpone that to 2021. So, to lift my own spirits, and hopefully other people’s, I decided to put together a proper concert here in L.A., live-streamed everywhere, for everyone to be a part of," said LP.
The multi-camera, HD video, 80-audio-channel concert kicks off at 1pm PT and features LP and her band performing fan favorites, covers, new music and more.
“In support of our larger cultural issues, I’m donating a portion of proceeds to The National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC) - a civil rights organization whose mission is to fight racism, homophobia, and LGBTQ/SQL bias and stigma,” adds LP.
GA tickets and VIP All Access Pass packages are available for purchase now. In the meantime, check out LP’s first live album, Live In Moscow, here. Recorded at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, the 17-track album was released on 5/29.
