WHAT IT IS: After receiving a scholarship to Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg native Adam Doleac not only played baseball but also penned songs with his teammates and learned how to play guitar. Playing hometown shows paid off for the wordsmith when a performance of a Doleac show posted on YouTube amassed millions of views and caught the attention of Sony/ATV, which inked him to a pub deal. Now, having co-written songs recorded by the likes of Kane Brown, Darius Rucker, Gabby Barrett and Hootie and the Blowfish, among others, Doleac has staked his claim as a rising star in Nashville with the release of his debut EP, Famous.
