RCA’s Australia-bred newcomer Amy Shark—currently wrapping up her North American tour—made her L.A. debut this week, first hitting Bardot’s weekly School Night event on Monday, followed by The Echo on Tuesday.

Off her recently released Night Thinker EP, which dropped 4/21, she played "Drive You Mad," "Weekends" and "Blood Brothers" for the Echo crowd, and closed the show with single "Adore."

It’s also worth noting that the songstress—arguably in the same vein as Halsey, and equipped with quite the set of pipes—has an inspired cover of Eminem’s “Superman” in her arsenal, which is pretty kick-ass. According to HITS new girl Kenz Meadows (who was in attendance), “Spits on Girls,” a 2014 single (and the only other taste of music available on Spotify, aside from the EP), proved to be a mentionable standout.

Shark, who sold out NYC’s Mercury Lounge a week prior, still has gigs in San Francisco (6/16), Portland (6/27), Seattle (6/19) and Vancouver on deck. Catch her while you can, and click here for details.

FYI, the aforementioned “Adore” now boasts 19m+ streams on Spotify, where she has approximately 1.3m monthly listeners. The official music video, meanwhile, is at 3m+ views.
