WHAT IT IS: For the Sydney trio of Tommy O’Dell (vocals), Johnny Took (guitars) and Matt Mason (guitarist and backing vocalist), 2016 is poised to be a breakout year. Zane Lowe recently chose them for his World Record, and after a performance on Colbert, they embarked on a full U.S. tour, which includes stops at SXSW and Coachella. Pop Matters declared their recently released album an “Outstanding Debut, 9/10.”
