Tor Miller (Glassnote)

WHAT IT IS: The 21-year-old singer/songwriter/pianist released his first EP, Headlights, in February. The EP—written and recorded in London, Nashville and NYC—included notable tracks “Midnight” and “Hold the Phone.” The latter, recorded on his iPhone, first gained traction when Zane Lowe named it the “Next Hype” track on his Radio 1 show. James Bay and George Ezra took notice of the NYC native’s artistry and invited him to join them on tour this past summer. Led by latest single “Carter & Cash,” Miller is poised to release his first full-length album soon.
