Cherrytree chief Martin Kierszenbaum has inked tween singer/songwriter/ actress Skylar Stecker to his Interscope-distribbed label. The 13-year-old Wisconsin native, the youngest artist ever signed to Cherrytree, has a powerhouse Soul-Pop voice; her video for "Rooftop" has enjoyed more than 5 million views, while she also boasts nearly 300k subscribers to her YouTube channel, 156k Instagram followers and 17.3k Twitter followers. The folks at Radio Disney are suitably enamored; expect some big looks in the near future. Her full-length is due in September.
