Primary Wave has taken an equity interest in the newly launched podcast content production studio, Audio Up. Led by founder and CEO Jared Gutstadt, formerly of the Jingle Punks, Audio Up is creating a network of premium entertainment content in the podcast space with the help of Primary Wave's financial and artistic resources expanding its capabilities. From fictional podcasts to musicals and interview series, Audio Up is creating a new and innovative form of IP.
"Audio Up continues down this path in the podcast space, with Primary Wave providing publishing and administration support for all their new properties. This relationship will provide opportunity for us to incorporate and create new vehicles for our clients and songs from our roster of legendary catalogs,” says Justin Shukat, President of Primary Wave.

Audio Up launched its flagship interview podcast, The Dennissance, on 4/8 and entails Dennis Quaid conducting interviews with actors, politicians, personalities, musicians and business leaders. Quaid will also serve as Director on Make it Up As We Go, the scripted female-centric country musical podcast with original music by Scarlett Burke and ACM Songwriter of the Year Nicolle Gaylon.
Audio Up currently has projects in the works with the likes of Lakers’ NBA player and music producer Javale McGee as well as celebrity health and wellness guru JP Crimi.
