Warner’s Chester, Reich & Holmes are definitely on a hot streak. You gotta love when the music heats up heading into the summer. This week, they have the #1 song with Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” and the #2 track with Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” (Night Street), which should just flipflop next week. This is also the first time in Mediabase history that Warner’s had the top two tracks on the T40 chart. And speaking of hot, they impacted Dua Lipa’s new single, “Illusion,” as the #1 Most Added track with 128 adds and a debut on the chart in its first week; it’s currently headed for the Top 25. Benson Boone’s new track “Slow It Down” pulled in 15 early adds prior to official impact. Meanwhile, Dasha’s “Austin” (WMN) was a Top 10 Most Added track, bringing another 13 stations this week; it debuts on the chart with early support from HITS1, KDWB, KBFF and KKRZ.
Epic’s Sackheim & Dimig have Megan Trainor & T-Pain’s “Been Like This” set to join the Top 25; it has been Top 10 Most Added for the past four weeks and pulled in six new adds this week, including WFLZ, KHFI and WHTS. 21 Savage’s “redrum” is #2 at Urban, Top 5 at Rhythm and charted at Pop with 48 early stations, including KIIS, KMVQ, WKQI and WXSS. Madison Beer’s “Mine You Mine” (Sing It Loud) is Top 30 and on 100+ stations.
ICLG’s Marella & Acampora have Reneé Rapp & Megan Thee Stallion’s “Not My Fault” (Interscope) heading Top 10 as one of the Greatest Gainers of the week; it was 110m+ streams to date. Olivia Rodrigo’s “Obsessed” (Geffen) is also knocking on the Top 10 door and is also Top 10 on Spotify’s Pop Rising.
In2une’s Connone & Lucek once again put Djo’s “End of Beginning” (AWAL) in the Top 10 Most Added column, securing another 16 adds such as majors KRBE, WBBM, WWPW and WKQI. The track has 145+ stations spinning, and it has entered the Top 20 as one of the Top 5 Greatest Gainers of the week. Meanwhile, The Beaches’ “Blame Brett” (AWAL) looks to join the Top 30 with 60+ stations in rotation.
RCA’s Rothschild, Maldonado, JR & Daddio moved SZA’s “Saturn” (TDE) Top 10 this week and once again put it in the Top 10 Most Added column with six closed-out stations. KYLD PD & CHR Brand Coordinator Dan Hunt says, “SZA continues to solidify her dominance at Pop radio. ‘Saturn’ is an absolute smash and an early contender for Song of the Summer, in my opinion. She has reached undeniable superstar status with her songs resonating across multiple formats.” Justin Timberlake’s new single, “No Angels,” is also Top 10 Most Added this week and posted seven early adds. Victoria Monét’s “On My Mama” (Lovett Music) is heading Top 15 and was a Top 10 Greatest Gainer with 155+ stations.
Columbia’s Gray, Burruss, Bedard & Stevens have probably the hottest track out right now with Hozier’s “Too Sweet,” which has 100+ stations on board and scored 21 new adds this week, including KQMV, KZZP, KDHT and WNKS. It was also the #1 Greatest Gainer at T40 and Hot AC and continues to be the #1 U.S. Spotify track. Beyoncé’s “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” (Parkwood) is heading Top 5, while “II MOST WANTED” f/Miley Cyrus is on its way to the Top 25. Jessie Murph’s “Wild Ones” f/Jelly Roll is moving into Power Rotation based on Power Research at both T40 and Hot AC; it’s Top 20 bound.
Team Dyer has two tracks climbing the T40 chart this week. USHER’s “Kissing Strangers” (mega/gamma.) was Top 10 Most Added again this week with 11 new adds, including KMVQ, WZPL and WSSX, as it moves Top 25. Jagwar Twin’s “Bad Feeling” (Big Loud Rock) has debuted on the chart with early support from 40+ stations, including Music Choice, HITS1, KHKS and KENZ.
Republic Corps’ Spangler, Lucas & Dumler pulled in 76 adds on Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” (Island) as the #2 Most Added track at T40 this week. With majors like Z100, KIIS, WKSC and WIHT on board, the track is already heading Top 30. Muni Long’s “Made for Me” (Def Jam) has charted and is Top 30 bound with 50+ stations, while Ariana Grande’s “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” is moving Top 5 with a closed panel and Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” (Mercury) continues to climb up inside the Top 10 with 150+ stations on board. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj’s “Everybody” f/Lil Uzi Vert is Top 15 and The Weeknd’s “One of the Girls” f/JENNIE (XO) is Top 15 bound.
