Mudslides, tornadoes and snow storms …. It must be spring! And speaking of storms, there are several big new tracks that are taking the charts by storm as we have just had four big releases and there are several more on their way to your inbox this week. Top 40 is heating up.

Capitol’s Marella, Rainey & Siciliano have the week’s Greatest Gainer by a mile in Katy Perry’s “Chained to the Rhythm” after it cleared the panel and soared to #14 this week. The promo job on Jon Bellion’s “All Time Low” has the track set to join the Top 10; the single is platinum and is still Top 15 iTunes and Top 20 Shazam. Calum Scott’s “Dancing On My Own” is now #35 with 85+ stations on board including WIOQ, WWWQ and KVIL.

Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothchild & Farag move Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) Top 5 this week. It is #5 on the Mediabase PowerPlay List with increases on the board from WFLC, WRVW, WEZB and WQEN keeping this one moving toward the top of the chart. Big Sean’s “Bounce Back” (G.O.O.D.) debuted at #34 on the Pop chart just as it went #1 at Rhythm; new adds this week include KIIS and WCGQ.

Epic’s Team Glassman dropped DJ Khaled f/Beyonce & Jay Z’s “Shining” (We The Best) last week and scored 60+ stations out of the box; it is bubbling just under and looking to chart. Starley’s “Call on Me” moves Top 25 and is now the #13 Most Streamed Song in the world. Zara Larsson f/Ty Dollar $ign’s “So Good” is on 70+ stations and pulled in new airplay from KALV, KSLZ and KRQQ as it gets set to chart. Travis Scott’s “Goosebumps” (Grand Hustle) has 30+ stations and just landed prime slots at Coachella and Bonnaroo.

Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris & Vaughan have another runaway hit with The Chainsmokers’ “Paris” (Disruptor); it’s heading Top 5 this week and the sales and streams are holding Top 10. James Arthur’s “Say You Wont Let Go” jumps up inside the Top 30 with 115+ stations on board. Train’s “Play That Song” is Top 5 at Hot AC and looks to be chart bound next week at Pop.

Hollywood’s Finck, Smith & Ennis have moved Sabrina Carpenter’s “Thumbs” to #33 with 125+ stations on board including WWPW, WXXL and KHTS. The streaming numbers on this one are huge. Ocean Park Standoff’s “Good News” is the one to watch: It was featured in Best of 2016 on Spotify and has over 2.4m streams already.

RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio & Cooper were Top 5 Most Added again with Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa’s “Scared to be Lonely” as new adds came in from KHTS, WKSC, B96 and KMVQ. Snakehips & MO’s “Don’t Leave” pulled in 14 new adds this week with KIIS, WXKS and WKTU climbing on board. G-Eazy f/Marc E. Bassy’s “Some Kind of Drug” has charted with 90+ stations on board.

Republic’s CW, Spangler & Russell have one of the Greatest Gainers of the week in Marian Hill’s “Down” (Photo Finish), which jumps inside the Top 20 and has all but cleared the panel. ZAYN/Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” (UStudios/RCA) is now Top 3 and The Weeknd f/Daft Punk’s “I Feel It Coming” (XO) is set to join the Top 5—it’s all about the spin increases at this point. Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy” (Island) is now Top 10. Julia Michaels’ “Issues” is now Top 20 with 170 stations on board. Ariana Grande f/Future’s “Everyday” is set to join the Top 20 next week after pulling in big spin increases from WPOI, Music Choice & WFLC. Bubbling just under and looking to chart is Sean Paul f/Dua Lipa’s “No Lie” (Island).

RECORDSStrazza has Noah Cyrus f/Labrinth’s “Make Me (Cry)” sitting just outside the Top 20,. New airplay this week came in from WNKS, WNFN and WFBC. You can’t turn on TV without seeing her smiling face.

Warner Bros.Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih have a big launch coming to your inbox this week … Watch for it! Oh, and last week they dropped Linkin Park’s “Heavy” and there are already 115 stations on board after just a few days. Watch for this one at the top of the add board this week. BeBe Rexha’s “I Got You” continues to grow spins and is set to join the Top 15. PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Not Nice” (OVO) has charted and pulled in 12 new adds last week.

S-Curve’s David Nathan has AJR’s “Weak” heading toward the chart with 64 stations on board and new airplay coming in from KNOU, KZCH and WFKS. Watch for this one to chart soon.
