Now what??? This election hangover is going to be long and painful.
So Columbia’s Leipsner, Borris and Vaughan continue to hold down the #1 position on the chart with The Chainsmokers f/Halsey’s “Closer” (Disruptor); it has held the position for seven weeks running now. John Legend’s “Love Me Now” is now Top 20 at Pop, with the iTunes and the Shazam numbers taking huge jumps; this one continues to climb the charts. Frenship’s “Capsize” is ready to make that Top 20 move after 12 straight weeks of triple digit gains on the chart; new this week are Q102, WFLZ and KDND. Impacting next week is Adele’s “Water Under The Bridge.”
RCA’s Riccitelli, JR, Daddio & Cooper have Sia f/Kendrick Lamar’s “The Greatest” (Monkey Puzzle) heading toward the Top 10—it’s #3 Global on Shazam and has over 180m streams on Spotify. Martin Garrix & BeBe Rexha’s “In The Name of Love” was a Top 10 Greatest Gainer last week and pulled in 10 new adds this week including WIHT, WKST and KSLZ. Pitbull f/Flo Rida and LunchMoney Lewis’ “Greenlight” pulled in major market adds this week from KRBE, WFLC and KZZP and is currently #21 on the chart. Alex Da Kid f/X Ambassadors, Elle King and Wiz Khalifa’s “Not Easy” (KidinaKorner) impacted this week and was Top 5 Most Added pulling in 26 stations including WIOQ, KUDD and KDND.
Capitol’s Marella, Rainey, Youngblood & Siciliano have moved Jon Bellion’s “All Time Low” Top 10; it’s Top 20 on Shazam with over 325m combined streams. Niall Horan’s “This Town” is set to make the jump to Top 15 and now has 155 stations on board; the new RTM has it #1 with females 18-34 and with teens. Bastille’s “Good Grief” picked up KZHT, KMXV and XHTO this week and debut on the chart this week with 60+ stations.
Def Jam’s Sackheim, Rothchild & Farag have moved Alessia Cara’s “Scars (To Your Beautiful)” Top 10 and have closed out the entire panel, with big spin increases coming in this week from KHKS, WPRO and WIOQ—this should continue to climb. Kanye West’s “Fade” (G.O.O.D.) makes the jump to Top 25 this week and pulls in new adds from WNOH, WMGB and Premium Choice. Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain” (Westbury Road/Roc Nation) was the most added track this week, pulling in 35 new stations as it climbs closer to Top 25.
Mom & Pop’s David Jacobs has another big week on Flume f/Tove Lo’s “Say It,” which pulled in WODS, WZMP, WDJX and WKSL as it climbs closer to charting this week with 60+ stations on board. Flume has also been chosen as iHeart’s Digital Artist Program for the month of November.
Republic’s CW, Spangler & Russell have a ton going on as always … First up is Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy” (Island), which scored 17 new adds this week and moved Top 30 this week. The Weeknd f/Daft Punk’s “Starboy” (XO) is #4 and was the #4 Greatest Gainer this week at Pop. Hailee Steinfeld’s “Starving” is thisclose to joining the Top 10 and with big spin increases coming in from 20+ stations should be there shortly. Ariana Grande f/Nicki Minaj’s “Side To Side” is enjoying the kiss from the call-out gods and was the #2 Greatest Gainer as it climbs to #8. DNCE’s “Body Moves” moved to #34 and pulled in new adds from KBFF, WHTS and WNVZ. Maty Noyes’ “In My Mind” (Lava) impacted last week and is already moving toward the chart; adds on impact include WKSC, KMVQ, KVIL and WPOI. Neikid’s “Sexual” impacted and scored big with WBMP, KMVQ & KFRH. Impacting this week is Stevie Wonder f/Ariana Grande’s “Faith” from the movie Sing, which is in theaters 12/21; it scored 14 adds.
Warner Bros.’ Gray, Dyer, Reich & Shih landed Dua Lipa’s “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” back in the Top 10 most added this week pulling in 18 new adds including Music Choice, WBBM, WWWQ and KALV. Lucas Graham’s “You’re Not There” has 25 new adds, among them Z100, KIIS, WHYI and KDWB to name a few of the majors. Dropping this week is a new release from BeBe Rexha, “I Got You,” which impacts 12/5.
Caroline’s Saturn, Halpern & Holman continue to post major markets on Hey Violet’s “Guys My Age” (5Mode), with KNOU, Y100 and WIOQ climbing on board this week. Check out all the great performance videos on social media as they make their radio promo visits; they should chart this next week.
Epic’s Team Glassman were in the most added column last week with Captain Cuts’ “Love Like We Used To” pulling in 20 adds including KDIS, WWMX and WHQC. Fifth Harmony’s “That’s My Girl” is officially Top 20 and is on 150+ stations. Zara Larsson’s “Ain’t My Fault” (Ten Music) is headed Top 30 and pulled in new adds from Z100, WPOW and KHKS.
Hollywood’s Finck, Smith & Ennis charted Jordan Fisher’s “Lookin’ Like That” with 65+ stations on board; new this week are KKRZ and WFHN. Andy Grammer’s “Fresh Eyes” (S-Curve) is selling and is up 2.4m on Spotify this week, there are 40+ stations on board.
