JISOO of BLACKPINK is the latest member of the South Korean supergroup to take a side path as a solo artist, signing a global deal with Warner Records.
The singer, who’s already made a huge splash with her singles “FLOWER” (which has racked up 525m global Spotify streams) and “All Eyes on Me” (which added 149m more to her tally), will launch the deal with the 2/14 release of her debut album, Amortage.
JISOO has also extended her reach beyond music, serving as a global ambassador for Dior, Cartier and Dyson and in 2024 becoming the face of ALO Yoga. Moreover, she plays a lead role in the upcoming series Newtopia, which premieres 2/7 on Prime Video.
Warner CEO and Co-Chair Aaron Bay-Schuck said, “There is no question that JISOO is one of the biggest stars in the world, and we have no doubt that her solo career will be even more impactful. Her music transcends cultures and [COO/Co-Chair] Tom Corson and I, along with the entire team, are thrilled to join forces with JISOO as she continues to make history and inspire millions around the world.”
Said JISOO, “I'm excited about this new era and the continuation of my musical journey. I feel like I'm just getting started and I'd like to thank the BLINKs for all of their love and support. This is just the beginning and I'm thrilled to kick off this seismic moment with Warner Records.”
