Arista’s Damiano David has delivered his rendition of “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart," by Mark Ronson f/Miley Cyrus, as part of 2025’s Spotify Singles: Valentine’s Day Edition.

Soaked with vintage instrumentation and bearing a Morricone-inspired sound, the Måneskin frontman’s take on the 2018 hit arrives ahead of his debut solo album, which is due this spring.

First single “Born With a Broken Heart” earned 50m+ streams and is Top 20 at Pop radio. It follows David's Labrinth-produced debut, “Silverlines.”

The Italian singer-songwriter is gearing up for a 33-date global tour this year, with engagements across Europe, Australia, North America, South America and Asia.

“Spotify gave me the opportunity to explore my personal vision of Valentine’s Day," reads a quote from the artist. "I chose ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ because it addresses love in its most complex form: passion, pain and the diversity of those who experience this occasion.”
