There’s a riot goin’ on at Riot Games, which has promoted Brooke Rascoff to head of global music marketing and partnerships.
Rascoff, who joined Riot in 2023 after a decade of experience at Venice Music, YouTube Music and Spotify, was a key player in the success of Arcane League of Legends: Season 2 (Soundtrack from the Animated Series), notably in brokering the soundtrack distribution deal with Virgin Music Group. The album, which debuted at #2 on Spotify’s global album chart, has gone on to amass over 1b global streams.
She has also overseen some of Riot’s most high-profile music marketing campaigns, such as collaborations with NewJeans for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship anthem “GODS” and Linkin Park for the 2024 anthem “Heavy Is the Crown,” the biggest Worlds anthem debut in Riot’s history.
Maria Egan, global head of music at Riot Games, said on LinkedIn, “Couldn’t be more excited to welcome Brooke Rascoff to the team, from helping drive some of the biggest music launches in Riot history to masterminding the epic Arcane OST rollout, she’s already proved to be an MVP as a consultant and is now a fully fledged Rioter.”
