POLYGRAM CELEBRATES SELENA DOC

Universal Music Group's film and television arm, Polygram Entertainment, celebrated the Sundance Film Festival pre-premiere of Selena y Los Dinos in Park City on Sunday (1/26). The documentary chronicles Selena Quintanilla's journey from hometown performer to becoming the "Queen of Tejano Music" with her family band, Selena y Los Dinos, through interviews and archival footage provided by Selena's parents, brother and sister.

The film, produced alongside AMSI Entertainment and Motto Pictures, is mostly narrated by Selena's father, Abraham Quintanilla, who started her on the path to superstardom before she was killed in 1995.

Pictured mere moments away from doing the merengue are UMG Head of Film & TV Production/Development David Blackman and director Isabel Castro.
