Mom+Pop Music co-owners Michael Goldstone and Thaddeus Rudd have launched the creative and digital agency Pipes Music.
Pipes will work with Mom+Pop artists, unsigned acts and performers signed to other labels. Services will include content creation, social-media campaign strategy and select artist properties, including fan accounts.
Goldstone said, “Pipes is constructed differently from most agencies in the music space. Our vision is to help artists lean in artistically to maintain their unique aesthetic and musical point of view across platforms.”
Rudd added, “It's no longer a world of 'When's the single and tour coming?' Supporting artistry is our purpose, so we are always looking at ways to be current, vibrant and dynamic on our artist's behalf.”
The agency’s team will include Emily Ferrell, who’ll lead UGC campaigns and digital marketing, with assists from Ella Parent and Shae Hicks, as well as Sullivan Brock, who’ll head up the creative department.
Pipes has already launched UGC campaigns for Maya Hawke, Magdalena Bay, The Kilans and Tiny Habits, among others. The company is also working with new Mom+Pop signing Chaparelle, repped by Open Management’s Jack Gallagher.
HITS, meanwhile, still remembers when mom and pop tossed all our weed and told us to put down the pipe.
