U.K. CHARTS: ROBBIE'S THE MAN WITH 15th #1

Robbie Williams lands his 15th #1 as a solo artist on the Official U.K. Album chart this week, while Lola Young's "Messy" (Island) dethrones the eight-week reign of Gracie Abrams' "That's So True" (Interscope) on the Singles roundup.

Williams' Columbia soundtrack to Better Man, the unconventional biopic of the onetime Take That member in which he's portrayed as a CGI monkey, outsold the rest of the top 5 combined.

Williams now has 20 combined #1s on the chart both as a solo act and with Take That.

Abrams' The Secret of Us jumps 14-3 following the vinyl release of its deluxe edition, while late rapper Mac Miller's Balloonerism (Parlophone) is the top debut at #16.

With Oscar buzz growing for the Timothée Chalamet-starring Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, Dylan's own The Very Best of Bob Dylan (Columbia) rockets 98-30. It peaked at #13 upon its original 2013 release.

On Singles, "Messy" ascends to the top in its 11th week thanks to ongoing TikTok popularity and streaming consumption of the seven month-old track.

“This wasn’t expected, but it’s definitely a song I really believed in," says Young, who just made her proper U.S. late night TV debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "It’s a song that I wrote on my own, and it feels really special."

ROSÉ and Bruno Mars' "APT." (Atlantic) holds at #2, while Abrams' "That's So True" slides to #3 and Central Cee's "GBP" featuring 21 Savage (Columbia) enjoys the highest new entry at #6.
