LET THE GAGA GAMES BEGIN

Lady Gaga is riling up her fans with a cryptic countdown posted to her website.

The timer is set to end on 1/27, and a tool allowing visitors to swipe across the background reveals the abbreviation "LG2." All signs suggest that she'll reveal the title, track list and release date for her next album when the counter runs out.

Gaga hasn't released a proper solo album since 2020, when she delivered Chromatica (Streamline/Interscope), although she whet her fans' palates with 2021's Love for Sale, a collaborative effort with Tony Bennett, as well as 2024's Harlequin and the Joker: Folie à Deux soundtrack.

Her Grammy-nominated duet with Bruno Mars, "Die With a Smile" (Interscope), arrived last August and peaked at #1 on Spotify, Apple Music and iTunes during release week. It is expected to appear on the upcoming album.
